Our couple — adventurous and nature-driven souls from South Africa — wanted a wedding that felt alive. They were drawn to the kind of effortless, untamed estate aesthetic that lets beauty speak for itself: organic, graceful, and full of energy.

Choosing May was intentional — a chance to capture the last breath of spring, where seasonal blooms could bring a particular brightness and vitality that no other month offers.

Most touchingly, the couple asked that every floral arrangement be designed as a take-home gift for their guests — so that the love and beauty of the day could continue blooming long after the celebration ended.

A Spring Colour Palette: Warm Garden Roses and Blush Carnations in Wild Harmony

We anchored the palette with warm orange garden roses for vitality and energy, blush carnations for softness, and scattered accents of purple and white wildflowers — a combination that sang beautifully under the hilltop sunlight and captured the spirit of late May.

To add movement, we wove in ornamental grasses and fountain grass, creating the impression of blooms dancing gently in the mountain breeze — effortless luxury at its most natural.
